Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actor since the late 1980s. In the last decade, Angela Evelyn has worked on film and television. Her work has been recognized with several awards, among them the 16 NAACP Image Awards. Bassett was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by her aunt in New York New York. Bassett as well as her sister, and their mother moved into St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was 5 years old. The father of the family had divorced their mother. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play when she was in high school, and realised that it was acting she would like to be doing. Yale University New Haven Connecticut gave her a bachelor's degree (1980) with a focus on African American study, and a graduate degree (1983), from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Graduated from Yale School of Drama School with a master's in African American studies, in the year 1980. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her leading parts, Ramonda, in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
